The NEMO program is intended to serve as a bridge between swim lessons and swim
team! This is not a program for swimmers learning to conquer fears of the water or
put their face under. This program is intended to get acclimated to the language and
strokes of swimming, and to build stamina before making it the entire way down the
pool on swim team in the future. Coach Sarah will be running the program, along with
junior coaches.
In order to be eligible to participate, each child must be able to demonstrate the
following on DAY ONE:
Parents are encouraged to get in some pool time or swim lessons this spring to
prepare. Due to the shortness of the program, the evaluation will occur on the first
day.
Please keep in mind this is a first come, first served program, and will be limited to 15
swimmers. A waiting list will begin if the sign-up exceeds 15.

Monday-Wednesday-Friday, and beginning on 6/19
*The final practice will be Friday July 26, 2019.
Time: 7:30 am – 8:00 am
Age: 4 years old is the minimum age
Cost: $90
There will be 2 “mini meets” to showcase the Nemo’s skills on the following dates:
Wednesday, July 10th & Wednesday, July 24th
Also, No NEMO Practice July 12 and 15

- Feel comfortable with face-in swimming
- Belly float for 5 seconds
- Swim across the width of the pool without touching
- Jump into the pool
