First Week reminders

​Hi Marlins,

Two days and counting until practice begins. I will be practice on Tuesday and Wednesday to answer any questions you might have.  On Tuesday-Please bring your team suit that you have grown out of to pass along to a teammate. Also on Tuesday- Please bring your swimmer goal sheet.  This is a great way to communicate with the coaches about your expectations/goals for the season. There will be extra goal sheets out at the pool.  

Reminders for the season:

• Please don't talk with the coaches during practice. The are lifeguarding and coaching during practice. The best way to communicate with coaches is via email. Cory's email is: [email protected] and Sarah's email is [email protected].
• Swimmers 9 years old and younger need to have a parent/sitter accompanied them to practice.   
• Swimmers should not be playing around the pool area while other groups are practicing.  It is distraction to the swimmers who are practicing and the coaches.  
• TeamSnap will be activated on Thursday, May 31st- please login and mark your swimmer's availability for the season. For a Saturday meet you must mark your swimmer's availability by Tuesday evening.  If the Tuesday night you must mark your swimmers availability by Saturday evening.  Coach Cory won't put your swimmer in a meet unless she knows your swimmer will be there.  TeamSnap will also be used to text the team and send emails.  You can login to TeamSnap and change your reminder settings to what works best for you.  

Events:

May 29th- First day of Practice/ swim suit exchange continues
May 30th- Practice Metro Swim Shop- Team Suits, googles, and other equipment will be available for purchase
June 8th- Time Trial (practice meet), Sip n Dip, and Bonfire with s'mores

Tuesday, May 29th through Friday, June 15th
4:30-5:15pm  Ages 13 and up 
5:15-6:00pm  Ages 11-12
6:00-6:30pm Ages 9-10
6:30-7:00pm  Ages 7-8
7:00-7:30pm- 6 and under
